    Sodexo is currently searching for a Workplace Technical Standards & Knowledge Development Engineer.  This position will ideally be located at our Corporate Headquarters in Gaithersburg, Maryland however a remote work location will be considered.


    Provide a unified technical services training support to segments and sites to support Technical Services growth and sustainability.

    • This will be achieved by developing and delivering training to ensure standardization in the way we build and implement processes for the Asset Management (technical maintenance and asset lifecycle activities) to cover but not limited to sales, mobilization, operations and learning/continuous improvement.
    • Design, build and implement Standard Operating Procedures (Technical Services) by adopting the Global AMS documents to suite local Segment needs.
    • Development and maintenance of dynamic tools to deliver the Standard Operating Procedures for Technical Services/offer to drive quality, consistency and cost-effective solutions for sales, mobilization, operations and continuous improvement based on Segment needs
    • Develop and maintain a robust document control and knowledge management or governance system to ensure that the latest version of the required documents is being utilized

    Position Summary

    This position supports the Hard FM (Asset Management and Engineering) Services of the North America FM (Facilities Management) Platform and supports the Global FM Platform to design and deliver training as well as provide governance to ensure that Sodexo’s asset management and engineering (Hard FM) services is delivered in a standardized and replicable fashion. This position reports to the Technical Services Standards Engineering Lead and provides training to ensure the standardization of the delivery of technical operations for all Hard FM services across all markets. This role is essential to the current operations and growth of the Hard FM business as it promotes knowledge transfer and ensures that all changes and enhancements to the training material are governed in alignment with Global AMS strategy.


    This position will ensure the success of the delivery of Asset Management and Engineering services by driving a data-driven, disciplined culture that boosts FM growth by providing supporting training material to facilitate knowledge transfer. It also develops and delivers all AMF (Asset Management Framework) training for Learning and Development such as but not limited to the FM Academy.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree 

    Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
