    Sodexo’s Government Services North America is seeking a Food Marketing Specialist II for a large, high security account in the Maryland area and in relatively close proximty to Baltimore.


    Sign on Bonus: $2500


    Food operations for this 18-million dollar account consists of national and in-house brands in 17 locations.   As a Food Marketing Specialist, you will be working with the District Manager and management teams to increase sales and customer participation in all dining locations. This is a great opportunity for a professional with strong field experience in marketing and operations.

    Sales/Marketing: Are you passionate about utilizing marketing initiatives to drive sales, participation and satisfaction? Can you successfully develop and execute innovative marketing plans and programs? 

    Client/Guest Communications:  Do you possess excellent oral and written communication skills? Can you effectively communicate with clients and guests?  Can you develop and implement internal/external communications utilizing various platforms?

    Special Events: Are you an event planner who possesses the ability to deliver fun and engaging activities? 

    Software Applications: Can you conduct weekly menu maintenance on a large-scale digital content management system? Can you conduct updates to menus, pricing on POS and kiosk systems?  Knowledge of CaterTrax, Halo and VivoNet are a plus.  

    Training: Can you successfully train hourly staff employees in the areas of customer service and marketing strategies?

      • Coordinate all unit marketing initiatives to drive sales growth and participation 
      • Offer a fresh perspective every time they walk into a unit



    Position Summary

    • Drives growth through planning, development and execution of growth initiatives, including: Non-Mandatory Sales/Pricing/Retail & Catering/New Sales & Retention/eCommerce & Mutualized Promotions
    • Develops and implements plans intended to increase customer insight/satisfaction through Surveys/Focus Groups/Engagement Promotions and relevant technology
    • Develops and implements internal/external communication through Websites/Social Media/Innovation Sharing/Best Practices
    • Forges collaborative relationships to create transformative customer experiences
    • Establishes program awareness through a physical presence at site

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate’s Degree
    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
