Sodexo Senior Living is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for a senior living community near Toms River, NJ. Our dining venues include resident, retail and catering. Your back of the house kitchen expertise and exceptional communication skills will make you the perfect match for this position. Reporting to the GM; you assist the culinary team managing daily food production for all food outlets including resident dining and catered events. The successful candidate will maintain a positive presence throughout the campus, train and develop employees, maintain Sodexo procurement standards, and work within budgetary constraints. Typical shift will be 10:30am - 7:00pm, with every other weekend coverage.

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
