Sodexo is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Manager to support the Facilities Campus Services Division for a 400k square foot school in Lake Forest, IL. This individual will provide comprehensive plant operations and maintenance services including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, light construction, Project Planning and long range Facilities Capital Planning.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of management experience within Facilities Management in a campus environment with mechanical skills with small machinery. This individual will possess strong financial acumen, bringing a history of proven success in cost controls, quality programs and operating efficiencies. Superior client and customer service skills along with coaching, mentoring and team building coupled with an organized leadership style will drive positive results on a daily basis.

Serves as the Manager overseeing the housekeeping, custodial and maintenance team, who will be responsible for maintaining high standards in the cleanliness and upkeep of the building and protecting the assets entrusted to Sodexo. Responsibilities include coordination of preventative, planned and unplanned maintenance to ensure the facilities meet the needs of the occupants. Adhere to service level agreements for unplanned maintenance. Implement the department administrative structure, services, and policies necessary for a student-centered residence life system. Coordinate with college staff to ensure project work and initiatives are completed as expected. Complete purchasing/accounts processed for items required to complete your required duties. Ensure Sodexo purchasing standards are adhered to at all times. Promoting the safety and welfare of all residents.
Basic Education Requirement - Associate’s Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year
