    Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a General Manager 3 to join our team at State Street Channel Center in Downtown Boston.  Sodexo has partnered with State Street for over 20 years!  The current food landscape consists of 1 corporate café with 8 stations (soup, salad, grill, deli, pizza oven, 3 action stations), executive client center, micro-market, coffee bar and catering operations with a total MV of 2.4million.

     

    State Street is a portfolio account and the General Manager 3 will work with in a team of other General Managers in the Portfolio.  The General Manager 3 will oversee and coordinate operations at the downtown Boston location. Duties include but not limited to:

    • Managing budget/finances in a challenging P&L environment
    • Client interaction/relationship/partnership
    • Leading and developing a team of 1 salaried Executive Chef and 15 hourly employees
    • Safety and sanitation
    • Marketing efforts to drive revenue and sales
    • Developing and implementing innovative and trendy retail solutions

    This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire).  Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

    Position Summary

    Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
    Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 3 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
