Sodexo has an excellent opportunity for a polished and professional General Manager 4 for a Corporate Services account located in Des Moines, Iowa.

This individual will oversee 3 cafes and the catering department for our client Principal Global Headquarters. This manager will have total unit operating responsibilities including the supervision of all hourly staff which includes the Corporate Catering Manager, Operations Manager and 40 Sodexo non-union frontline employees with a focus on excellent customer experience. This position reports into a District Manager.
A Sodexo partner since 2008, Principal Global Headquarters is the largest employer in Des Moines with a total campus population of over 5000 employees. Principal is a premiere financial and investment services company open Monday through Friday on their Des Moines campus. Sodexo serves breakfast and lunch services from three on-site cafe's and supports a high volume high profile corporate catering service as well.
The GM of food service will oversee around 3.5 million dollars in annual managed volume. This individual will plan and supervise special functions, maintain cash control and payroll records, hire and train unit personnel, and maintain customer satisfaction and good public relations. We are looking for candidates with a culinary background, strong leadership skills, and catering experience.
