    Sodexo Leisure Services has a new opening for a Conference Services Manager. We are seeking a seasoned professional Hotel, Resort or Conference Center Services Manager to plan, coordinate and execute all events at a Phoenix area IACC Day Use Conference Center. Desert Willow Conference Center has 40,000 sq. ft. of meeting space used for single and multi-day business meetings & conferences.

    The ideal candidate will have two years conference center, hotel or other hospitality venue specific conference services experience, be detail oriented, a multi tasker, organized, professional. This is a hands-on manager role directly responsible for overseeing the daily set up and servicing of all meetings and conferences at this day use conference center. 

    Position Summary

    Strength in event mgmt. skills- planning and working events/meetings, attention to detail, customer interaction/service skills

    Key Duties
    - Coordinate event/functions (food – event environment)
    - A/V knowledge/responsibility
    - Customer Services/directing operations
    - Staffing

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience – 1 year
