    Sodexo Universities is seeking an Audio / Visual Manager to join our team at Marymount University in Arlington, VA! 


    This Audio / Visual Manager will be responsible for the commissioning, maintenance and support of various types of IT & AV systems within a large and active conference center. Experience in maintenance, support of AV systems and familiar with Crestron control panels. CTS certification preferred. 


    Primary duties of this Audio / Visual Manager include maintenance, troubleshooting, analysis, and repair of all types of AV systems. Including but not limited to:

    • Removal and re-installation of faulty equipment
    • Replacing lamps in a variety of projectors
    • Preventive maintenance on all AV systems/equipment 
    • Developing a plan to assure working order of conference AV systems
    • Troubleshooting detailed problems within AV systems
    • Advising on design of new AV systems
    • Keeping inventory for replacement items and expendables
    • Will assist with other duties as assigned by management

    Preferred skills/traits include:

    • AV programming systems knowledge
    • Post production work
    • Detailed troubleshooting
    • Detailed communication—other team members, manufacturing support personnel
    • Ability to work independently and well within a team
    • Willingness to help out other team members at all times—on occasion this may include set up of AV equipment, operation of AV equipment, labor for room set up
    • Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and team oriented attitude are highly valued

    To support all aspects of the Conference Services team including but not limited to responding to AV support tickets for the conference center. Ensure all clients are able to use the AV provided in the room. Assist the video production and virtual team with live productions.

    Position Summary

    Manages the provision of audio/visual services for client facility, including scheduling equipment maintenance, upgrading and renting equipment. May be responsible for phone system. Sets up/installs computers with assistance from on-site conference center support staff.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
