    Sodexo is seeking an General Manager 4 - Food  for our exciting venues Nampa Civic Center and Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho. **Relocation Assistance Is Available For This Opportunity!! These venues serve a variety of menu options for Concerts, Rodeos, Conferences and more! So fun, it's hard to call it work, providing quality dining options to 9000 guest to enjoy concerts at the indoor arena, and up to 12,000 at the outdoor amphitheater! A stunning Horse Arena hosts Auctions and Horse shows year round and outdoor adventures await with excellent skiing, and every possible outdoor sporting option at hand. Just 15 minutes to Boise and the major Airport, this affordable community is an ideal family-friendly setting, with a growing music and microbrewery scene.     Are you the experienced food service General Manager, Food we’re seeking?

     

    As the General Manager, Food at one of our large entertainment accounts, you will be responsible for the successful coordination and direction of all daily activities related to food service within a multi-unit campus account.

     

    The Ideal Candidate will:

     

    • Have previous Food operations management in a Concessions and Catering setting or other high-volume dining
    • 5 years of operational experience at a General Manager level and/or diverse team leadership within a food service environment  
    • Be proficient in use of online Food Management Systems for menu/recipe planning, ordering and inventory
    • Demonstrate proven financial acumen and documented success in managing food costs and labor costs as well as multi-unit budgets
    • Be a people person with a strong focus with maintaining positive client relations; a solid manager and leader who is perceptive and has attention to details that make a difference
    • Focused on the WOW factor for food quality and presentation of food
    • Excelent customer service, focused on customer retention and new sales growth
    • Be customer focused including providing excellent customer service in a welcoming dining environment foc concessions and catering

    Position Summary

    Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
    Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
