Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager/ Chef Manager for a Corporate Services account located near Cincinnati, OH.
The position requires food safety certification, HACCP knowledge, ordering food and supplies, food preparation, supervision of kitchen staff, monitoring of food production, food cost, labor cost, budget, catering skills, client interactions, creativity and innovations. Menu promotions, flexibility with work schedule for special events, working closely with the General Manager. Continuing training on Sodexo policies, menu programs, new food concepts, and training staff. Serve Safe Certification is a plus.
The position is a high functioning role and working in the kitchen on a daily basis and is a key expectation for this role. This operation offers Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Catering and a Micro Market offering to our customers. Catering is a key deliverable and expectations are at a high premium with the customers which our client serves. The ideal candidate will need to be focused on food and physical safety while managing a high quality food program. Being detailed oriented, well organized and possessing strong planning skills are critical to the success of the position.
This operation is a growing Pharmaceutical Company and part of a Multi-Site Integrated Facilities Management operation for Sodexo. The ideal candidate must possess proven culinary skills, solid management leadership and a strong HACCP and sanitation skill set. The commitment to safety and the understanding that we must have a heightened awareness in this manufacturing setting is paramount.
