Sodexo is currently searching for a General Manager 5 to join a Corporate Services account in Buffalo, NY. At this location there is a trendy food hall, upscale catering, conference center, branded coffee bar, office coffee services and micro-markets. This individual would report directly into a District Manager and supervise 30 Sodexo frontline(hourly) non-union employees. This individual will oversee roughly $2M in annual managed volume but is projected to grow to $3M next year and $7M within the next 5 years. The population will also eventually grow to 4000. We are looking for candidates who are up to date on food trends, someone who can build a team and mentor, upscale catering experience, as well a strong retail background. This is a very dynamic, fast paced environment and will be a great opportunity to grow business.
This individual would primarily work a Monday through Friday 7-5PM shift with no weekends or Holidays.
Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.
