    Sodexo is seeking Registered Dietitian at CHI Trinity Medical Center.


    This position will support skilled care, medical rehab, behavioral health, and Bariatric outpatients. Some acute care coverage required as well. Perfect for the new Dietitian looking to expand their knowledge in the field of dietetics. This facility is located 40 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. CHI Trinity Medical Center is part of the CHI National Health System.  The Mission of Catholic Health Initiatives is to nurture the healing ministry of the Church, supported by education and research.   


    Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager the ideal candidate will:

    • Be Registered Dietitian
    • Have at 0-1 year of clinical experience preferred in an acute care setting, performing nutrition assessments. LTC experience is helpful.
    • Have experience with the nutrition care process and electronic health record charting
    • Have experience with Nutrition Focused Physical Exams is a plus
    • Work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
    • Work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently
    • Participate in performance improvement projects
    • Available for evening classes
    • Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns
    • Have a strong desire to continue learning and advancing skill
    • Have good time management and communication skills
    • Be a Licensed Dietitian in the State of Ohio

    Position Summary

    Responsible for providing direct basic nutrition services
    Key Duties
    -Provides nutrition care to population served to ensure needs and customer satisfaction levels are met.
    -Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction to ensure account retention.
    -Manages, promotes, and educates others on food and nutrition programs according to Sodexo standards and policy.
    -Collaborates and communicates with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, special diets, and menu requests and probes potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate Sodexo resource when necessary.
    -Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel) by keep abreast of the most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice.
    -Follows operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments..


    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

    Basic Functional Experience -  Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
