Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for The McCallie School located in Chattanooga,Tennessee.  The McCallie School is a private Independent School that has day and boarding students.  This is a long term contract with a very strong client relationship.  We are seeking a proven culinarian who has a track record of managing team members, production, procurement, HACCP, training, hiring, Sodexo policy adherence as well as a passion and talent for all things food.  Prior Executive Chef experience required.  DRIVE system experience highly desirable.

 

The successful candidate will: 

 

  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;  
  • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented; 
  • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;  
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or 
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
