    Help develop the strategy and process framework for the development of machine learning, statistical models, and automation.

     

    Sodexo is currently seeking a Senior Manager Data Integration who will be involved in project management, particularly dealing with multiple work streams of development and enhancement activities.  This role will be working out of our Cheektowaga, NY office.

     

    This role will also be responsible for setting up standards, developing/mentoring new talent in the team. This Senior Manager will provide solutions and design when needed. This role will be a liaison between the various technical team across the business intelligence platform and hands-on when needed. This role will develop novel, leading-edge machines learning, AI models, data models, and statistical models that run in our big data environment to infuse advanced analytics and automation into our functional areas.

     

    About this position:

    • Experience with Microsoft Azure business intelligence, data lake, platforms, services and development tools   
    • Design and implementing data models, statistical models, and cloud data solutions 
    • Be responsible for adherence to Service Level Agreements for Data Investigation/ Level 3 application support services defined  
    • Manage Agile and Waterfall methodologies  
    • Working with data scientists and digital teams to meet strategic data needs 
    • Administer integration tool repositories during system outages, software upgrades and user access provisioning
    • Be proficient in working with structured and un-structured data
    • Features, Statistical Normalization, Clustering, Machine Learning, and Automation 
    • Hadoop, Data Lakes, Notebooks, and Data Extraction and Ingestion
    • Communicate complex technical issues to business users in a language they understand
    • Ensure that all Enterprise procedures such as unit and system testing, change management, documentation, promote to production, etc. are followed
    • Provide reliable and timely 24-hour support on a rotating schedule utilizing advanced problem-solving techniques
    • Assist with development and unit testing when necessary
    • Responsible for the governance surrounding the usage of our BI Tool platform
    • Manage Internal SDLC processes
    • Deploy a rapid prototyping methodology as well as traditional data modeling and data mart development
    • Collaborate with the various teams to ensure performance of all Integration processes, develop and test scheduling process prior to production implementations
    • Identify problems, develop ideas, and propose solutions within differing situations requiring analytical, evaluative, or constructive thinking in daily work

    Our ideal candidate:

    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SSIS, SSAS, SQL Server, and Visual Studio
    • Strong knowledge of Dev Ops tools and techniques
    • Demonstrated advanced understanding of relational database design concepts and of writing SQL queries
    • Demonstrated advanced understanding real-time data integration methodologies
    • Proven basic UNIX knowledge
    • Demonstrated experience using a job scheduler
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
    • Proven strong project planning, time management, verbal and written communications skills 
    • Experience with big data and data mining
    • Experience with data mining
    • Experience with Python, R and/or Azure
    • Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend processes improvements
    • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style in an Agile/Scrum Environment.

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    Basic Management Experience - 5 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 5 years of experience in database and systems architecture
