Sodexo Universities is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for East Mississippi Community College located in MS. This account has two locations, one in Scooba, MS and one in Hayhew, MS. Near Starkville and Columbus, MS, these locations are about 50 Miles apart, and this role will be overseeing the culinary operations for both locations. The ideal candidate can reside near either location and be open to commuting to the other location.
East Mississippi Community College has one residential campus and one commuter campus. Athletics are big on campus, and this role will play a large factor in the athletics department. Many State and national champion teams on campus - featured in the Netflix show, "Last Chance U," this is a buzzing college with lots of potential for growth. 582 dorm students and 2500 commuters between both campuses.
The Executive Chef will be a talented culinarian with exceptional organizational and leadership skills. This individual will be expected to be on the floor during service times communicating with students, faculty, and staff. This position will manage a resident dining operation and catering production. The Executive Chef will be very hands on in the menu planning process, labor schedules, production, marketing plan, and much more.

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.
- Implements & coordinates the culinary function.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
