Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking an Operations Manager for Altru Health in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The Operations Manager will manage Food & Nutrition and Environmental Services (EVS) operations for this 257-bed hospital. The Operations Manager will help develop and manage a team of frontline employees and will collaborate with other leaders of the department and hospital.


The salary range is negotiable depending on experience with a full benefits package that kicks in immediately. 


The successful candidate will:

  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff
  • provide stellar customer service
  • ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed
  • maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place


We are looking for candidates who have:

  • have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills
  • a food service or environmental services (EVS) management background
  • possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service
  • exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services
