Nourish is seeking a General Manager of Food and Pantry in Long Island City, NY. 

 

Nourish is a commissary kitchen focused on providing unparalleled dining experiences for corporate clients in NY.  Our facility serves as a hub for culinary creativity, offering a range of services from Daily Dining, Pantry and Barista services to hosting special events. We take pride in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences tailored to the unique needs of our clients.

 

Position Summary: 

As Operations General Manager, you will play an integral role in the successful execution of two key Nourish offerings: Daily Dining and Pantry. In this role, you will be accountable for executing client project plans, lead a team and collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve service standards ensuring the seamless delivery of the Daily Dining and Pantry offerings. The ideal candidate is an organized and effective leader with a passion for hospitality and affinity for operational efficiency. 

 

Unit Responsibilities: 

 

Daily Dining: 

  • Oversee and manage all onsite Daily Dining operations, including documentation, SOPs, staffing, equipment, and activations. 
  • Provide hands-on operational support to existing client accounts, by successfully executing each client’s contracted agreement. 
  • Assist with the development of account business plans to enhance customer service, facility layout and design, account profitability, retention, and client and customer satisfaction. 

 

Pantry 

  • Oversee and manage all onsite Pantry operations, including documentation, SOPs, staffing, equipment, and activations. 
  • Craft staff schedules for direct reports, ensuring efficient operation. 
  • Review all final prints on menus, onsite stickers, and labels for service promptly. 
  • Continuously refine operational procedures to elevate standards and ensure flawless performance. 

 

 

Administrative: 

  • Keep Daily Dining COGs (Labor, Transport, Food, etc.) and KPI’s updated on relevant tracking documents. 
  • Monitor performance against standards for client satisfaction by analyzing server reports to ensure site dynamics, quantities and quality meets standards and  collaborate with the Regional Account Manager to implement any necessary actions. 
  • Develop and update SOPs as necessary.
