Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for Hillcrest Medical Center located in Tulsa, OK.  Hillcrest Medical Center, the flagship hospital of Hillcrest HealthCare System, is a 620-bed hospital among Oklahoma’s most widely respected and acclaimed hospitals, offering extraordinary care and a multitude of services in many areas including Oklahoma’s largest dedicated heart hospital.

The successful candidate will:

 

  • Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;
  • Work a rotating holiday and weekend coverage schedule providing hospital wide coverage 
  • Perform quality improvement initiatives within the nutrition department;
  • Educate health care team members, including physicians and nurses; and
  • Assist the Food Service Management team, as needed
  • May travel to other sister facilities in the Tulsa area including Owasso, Cushing, Henryetta, and other surrounding cities

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)  (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

 

 

Credentials Requirement:

  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
