Sodexo is currently seeking an Executive Chef 2 for the Lehigh Valley Hospital –Hecktown Oaks location (20 beds) located in Easton, PA.  Easton, PA is just a short drive away from Allentown, the fastest growing major city in Pennsylvania and just a short drive away from the "City of Brotherly Love", Philadelphia, PA.

 

The Executive Chef 2 will support a team of frontline culinary associates and be responsible for all back of the house operations in retail, catering and patient services.

The successful candidate will:

  • have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product;
  • has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
  • can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
