Sodexo is seeking a Catering Manager 2 for Northampton Community College located in Bethlehem, PA. The Catering Manager 2 will assist in the management of all catered events. Works with clients/customers to arrange and follow through on all catering details and to ensure all special requests are met. Directs setup for events, and actively hands on for all event needs. Medium complexity with a high degree of hands on involvement in catering events. Strong client interaction. This role will also assist in managing front of the house staff, cleaning, uniform standards, customer service, and safety training

  • ability to coordinate catering initiatives to drive sales growth and track results;
  • oversight of the sales process for catering and/or conference services. Works with client and customers to design events;
  • contribute to account revenue and operating profit contribution through the implementation of services and the creation of growth opportunities;
  • plan projects, including defining objectives, methods, timetables, and budget to support client and Sodexo's strategic plan;
  • establish and maintains a safe work environment including both food and physical safety to comply with all regulatory and Sodexo standards in various environments. Drives the zero-harm mindset.
  • supervises employees by delegating, assigning, and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards.
