Sodexo is seeking an experienced Custodial Operations Manager 2 supporting our client, Norman Public School District. This position is located in Norman, just 20 minutes south of Oklahoma City, OK. 

Our Sodexo Environmental Services/Custodial teams work to direct custodial operations at Schools/k-12 client locations, partnering with them to deliver innovative solutions. These teams also have responsibility for driving client satisfaction by providing stellar customer service via effective communication with all levels of staff, as well as follow-through with action items that impact both client and student satisfaction. This Manager will be responsible for execution and delivery of work order flow, custodial equipment inventory, coaching and training and customer satisfaction. The ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities is essential for this role.

The successful candidate will:

• be responsible for driving client satisfaction scores;
• provide a clean and safe environment for students, visitors, and staff;
• works to ensure satisfaction in areas of housekeeping services, waste removal, and campus event set-up and tear-down;
• operate custodial equipment including but not limited to wet/dry vacuums, extractors, buffers, sprayers, auto scrubbers, and electric carts; and/or 
• support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

• have experience leading and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients in service and the technical execution of a housekeeping system;
• have experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results;
• possess strong leadership skills and can work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion;
• are results and safety-driven;
• have in-depth knowledge of housekeeping systems and procedures;
• open to second shift schedule, typical start time is 1PM;
• can multi-task and set priorities;
• are proficient with computers and other technology;
• Preferred at least 3-5 years of Custodial Industry experience;
• 1 – 2 years of experience operating capable-size school district preferred; and/or
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
