Sodexo is seeking a Project Manager with a facilities operations background and proven leadership ability to support the business results for a prestigious Energy client based in Houston, TX.  Reporting directly to the Operations VP, this role will support the team in completing key performance indicators related to finance, labor management, customer satisfaction, and safety for all Sodexo operations within the designated portfolio.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Utilize software programs and reporting tools
  • Prepare and lead client meetings regarding KPIs and action plans
  • Coordinate with site leaders to implement performance improvement initiatives
  • Work proficiently in conflict resolution, group dynamics, and facilitation of significant projects

 

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • The ability to systematically gather information from a variety of sources, analyze information, identify implications of data, draw appropriate conclusions, and generate viable alternative solutions to a question or problem.
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Strong technology skills in MS Office, Maximo (or other CMMS), Smartsheet (preferred) and MS Teams
  • A proven track record and understanding of Facilities Management principles and leadership experience.
  • Understanding the oil and gas service industry and our service portfolio is desirable
  • An experienced leader, who is mission-focused, growth-oriented, and committed to operational excellence.
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients and prospects and establish long-term relationships necessary for account retention.
  • A skilled communicator (written and verbal) who is poised when communicating to a variety of audiences (e.g., superiors, peers, subordinates, and clients)
  • A team player with unwavering ethics, integrity, and related personal attributes who leads with a focus on supporting staff development and team building.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experience within functional area or project management
