Unit Description

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Executive Chef 2 to join our team at our corporate account USAA in Tampa FL!.  The current food landscape consists of 2 cafes and catering operations.  The Executive Chef 2 will oversee the culinary operation.  Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Overseeing the day to day culinary operations for 1 cafe and additional support 2nd location off campus
  • Hands on working with the team about 25% to 50% of the time
  • Menu planning
  • Ordering
  • Inventory
  • Managing food and labor cost
  • Catering
  • Leading and managing a team of hourly employees
  • Must have a valid driver's license

This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire).  Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
