Chef Manager

Sodexo - Seniors has a current Chef Manager opportunity at Carroll Lutheran Village located in Westminster, Maryland. This is a large upscale continuing care retirement community serving over 600 residents.  The right person for this role will bring a solid operations background in food service, from either a senior living or healthcare setting.  Must have excellent skillset in customer and client relations.  The ability to work a flexible schedule that includes a weekend rotation alternate weekend schedule as Manager- on Duty- is also required. 

The successful candidate will have: 

• working knowledge of HACCP protocols for regulatory compliance;
• food production and catering experience, preferably in senior living/healthcare setting;
• notable culinary skills with homestyle, scratch cooking, as well as other creative dishes;
• hands-on experience with inventory management, and online ordering;
• ability to train & develop employees;
• ability to uphold Sodexo Culinary Standards; recipe compliance and food quality;
• experience in labor and food cost controls and compliance.
