Human Resources Generalist

Sodexo is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for SSM Health St Louis University Hospital located in St. Louis, Missouri. The HR Generalist will support up to 300 food service and environmental services (EVS) managers, supervisors and union employees at this medical center. 

Salary range is negotiable depending on experience with a full benefits package that kicks in immediately.

The successful candidate will:

• be responsible for all HR related day to day tasks including labor relations, employee relations, investigations, compliance, and more
• be hands-on with all talent acquisition and onboarding for all food service and environmental services employees 
• support managers and clients with HR and administrative related tasks 
• work daily in software systems such as Microsoft Office, ADP, Kronos, and applicant tracking systems 
• demonstrate strong attention to detail and organization 
• provide administrative support for HR department 

We are looking for candidates who:

• have at least 1 year of experience in human resources management 
• have a background managing HR or administrative team members (support staff) 
• highly organized with extreme attention to detail and an eye for compliance 
• are tech-savvy with the ability to pick up software quickly 
• have exposure or experience with union employees is highly preferred

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year of HR experience
