(Part-Time) Retail Food Service Manager needed in Warwick, MA for busy Healthcare Cafe

Sodexo is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Retail Manager with a passion for innovation and excellence to join our retail team at Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Retail Manager at this location will manage a team of approximately 35 employees. This role will require an exceptional leader with the ability to direct, mentor, and retain a team with strong communication skills. This role will ensure smooth operations, delegate tasks, and ensure all customer and client goals are met and exceeded. This is a part-time position; hours will vary based upon the needs of business with required weekend/ holiday rotations.

We are looking for candidates who can:

• implement performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to improve customer satisfaction
• monitor daily retail operations 
• monitor cafe
• interact with customers and the nursing staff
• perform assessments, training, stocking/inventory of the retail areas; and
• perform some HR functions and direct supervision of hourly associates.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies
• Previous experience working in a high-volume healthcare facility, a plus
• Supervisory or management experience a huge plus, preferably in health care, hospitality, and/or restaurants
