Dietitian Nutritionist I part time

Sodexo is seeking a part time Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at HCA Houston North Cypress, a campus of HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, is a 163-bed, general acute care hospital.  Position is part time working ~24 hour per week with excellent benefits and at the salary range of $28.00-$35.00 per hour.

The successful candidate will: 

• Conduct nutrition assessments and provide diet education to patients 
• Educate patients and family members as well as facility staff in concepts of nutrition and diet modification 
• Participates in multi-disciplinary team conferences and is a great team player

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)  (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
