Sodexo Live's! Airport Lounge Segment has an exciting opportunity for a Chef at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).  An oasis away from the airport hustle, the American Airlines Admirals Clubs/Lounges have become synonymous for comfort and elegance at major airports.

Grow your culinary career!  We are seeking candidates with prior culinary supervisory skills and hands-on food production experience to join our team.  We are seeking a Chef with high-volume culinary experience and the ability to supervise the lounge food program.  The Chef must be flexible to work a varied schedule to include some days, nights and weekend shifts.

The successful candidate will:

• be responsible for menu compliance, cooking, food production, food quality/presentation, safety/sanitation;
• ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
• have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
• ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards; and/or
• have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems (Excel Spreadsheets);

• a culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends and delegate with confidence;
• excellent mentoring/leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards;
• prior culinary experience within a restaurant, lounge or other hospitality-focused venue;
• strong coaching skills; and/or
• a passion for food and service.

Sodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
