Sodexo is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian for Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center main campus and Our Lady of the Lake Ascension hospital located in Baton Rouge and Gonzales, LA. Our Lady of the Lake main campus is a 900-bed, Level 1 Trauma Center, Ascension is a 50-bed community hospital.  Come work at the largest healthcare facility in Louisiana, grow your skills working with high acuity patients with order writing privileges.  A part of the Franciscan Missionaries, of Our Lady Health System is committed to building a healthy community through excellence in patient care and education.

The successful candidate will:

• Must be Registered Dietitian before start date
• provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;

• work every 8th weekend providing hospital wide coverage; 

• educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses; and
• precept dietetic interns.

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)  (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
