Outpatient Dietitian

Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Outpatient Registered Dietitian located at affiliated clinics of the Queen’s Health System.  

Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days!
Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!
Money toward continuing education events!
Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!

This position will travel to different locations on Oahu, use telemedicine, and possible travel to neighbor islands to provide 1:1 counseling for all types of patients requiring different diets.

The RDN will provide support to the treating provider in a patient-centered, integrated model of nutrition care that includes but not limited to: 

• Nutritional screening and assessment for behavioral health adults within the community; 
• Assist with in-home Care Coordination; 
• Community partnership with food programs, radio, TV, written work, and Health fairs.

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager the Ideal candidate will:

• Be a Registered Dietitian with 1 or more years' experience;
• Have prior experience in the outpatient arena with broad clinical knowledge is highly desirable;
• Work collaboratively with professionals and non-professionals to strengthen the team;
• Provide excellent nutrition care to patients and clients.

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)  (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
