Unit Description

Sodexo is hiring for a Patient Service Manager 2 for Cambridge Hospital, located in Cambridge, MA.  The manager role is focused on the patient serivce team, but also covering the entire operation during weekend shifts (every 3rd weekend) and vacation coverage. In this role you will report to the Area General Manager who covers all three CHA hosptials as well as inpatient and outpatinet dietetics throughout the CHA system.  

 

Cambridge Hosptial is a 136 Bed Hosptial containing Outpatient clinics, Surgery, Emergency Department, Two Med Surg Floors, Maternity, ICU,  Psychiatric Care, all in a communinty hosptial setting. Within Food & Nutrition we provide inpatinet meals, a full service cafe, catering, floor stock, and offsite to-go caterings. 

 

The successful candidate will:

 

  • work with hourly associates to to exceed patient satisfaction; collaborate with the clinicial, food, and interdisciplinary teams
  • oversee the patient dining program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery
  • perform tray assessments to ensure food quality, presentation tray accuracy, and compliance
  • partner with other Patient Service Managers within the CHA system on system-wide improvement projects

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
