Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for Executive Chef 3 to join our team at Liberty Mutual in Portsmouth NH where we serve Breakfast and Lunch only.  The current food landscape consists of 1 Corporate Café, and Catering Operations. Our Café has 6 stations handcrafted deli, made to order deli station, grill, action station, pizza station, and salad bar. We are looking for a talented Executive Chef to take this account to the next level.

 

The Executive Chef 3 will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Menu planning
  • Ordering
  • Inventory
  • Food and labor cost
  • Managing a team of 12 hourly employees
  • Culinary Standardization
  • Catering production (day to day catering and special events)
  • Hands on about 70% of the time
  • Ensuring quality and presentation

 

We are seeking an Executive Chef 3 who can work in a collaborative environment.  Follows culinary trends that advance the culinary experience across the account.

 

Leadership: Ability to effectively manage and communicate with culinary staff, key personnel, catering staff and management teams along with a passion and dedication to be “one of the best”. Candidate must be highly engaged, passionate and extremely hands-on in daily operations.


Training: Must be able to articulate and demonstrate a wide-ranging variety of cooking techniques and skills for the catering staff (plate presentation, quality, safety, proper culinary techniques).

Culinary System Acumen: Must be able to manage the production system, forecast performance, developing events, and records.

 

This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire).  Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.  Typical hours are 6am to 3pm or 4pm.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years   

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
