Sodexo is seeking a highly passionate and disciplined leader for a Patient Experience Manager 2 who is committed to creating positive patient experiences for a large healthcare system located in San Antonio, TX


As the Patient Experience Manager, you will be responsible for implementing strategies to enhance the patient dining experience by developing patient satisfaction action plans, coordinating and directing patient experience activities through leading and coaching management employees and staff, and monitoring Press Ganey scores to address areas of concern to drive patient satisfaction initiatives.The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker and solution-oriented with a proven track record in exceeding customer expectations in a hospital environment.


We are looking for candidates who will:


  • have strong customer service skills and be passionate about the patient dining experience;
  • regularly analyze patient satisfaction data and implement additional measurements and action plans in these areas to achieve optimal unit performance;
  • act as the liaison between the nursing units and dietary department to review and address any patient menu or meal concerns;
  • perform daily patient rounding and service recovery; and
  • have previous experience working in a high-volume facility 


The ideal candidate:


  • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
  • can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience; and
  • be a Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP)

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Basic Functional Experience: 3 years
