Sodexo is hiring a Food Services General Manager 4 for a longstanding account at Carroll College, a Faith Based campus in Helena, MT.  At Carroll, you’ll have access to some of the most pristine and opportunity-rich areas the world has to offer—right outside your door, not to mention Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park, just a few hours from campus.  This General Manager oversee an established on-site Sodexo management team and hourly staff of 35 employees.  As GM you will interact consistently with senior level client leadership on campus as well as the students, overseeing Student Resident Dining in a recently remodeled Dining Hall, various food concepts, and high end and high volume catering.

Our ideal candidate will be a strong, strategic leader with proven communication and client relations skills as well as have a passion for innovation and growth.  This Hands-On Dining General Manager will have a demonstrated history managing successful client relationships and will be responsible for directly supervising both Front and Back of the House employees,  Influencing a team to continuously deliver for our customers, and have a strong focus on student experience.  

  Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who: 

• Bring 3 - 5 years of experience in a high-volume dining environment – university, hospital, large corporate or restaurant dining, contract management experience a plus!
• Have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement, leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively
• Have proven financial acumen, managing a large annual budget of over $1M, forecasting and familiar with software applications to record unit figures and analyze to ensure meeting projections
• Can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills and passion for a high level of customer service
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Food Management Systems and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience
