Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Lead Dietitian position at SSM Health's St Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI, and St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, WI.   St. Mary’s is a 440-bed level 2 trauma center and St. Clare is a 100-bed community hospital.

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and the successful candidate will:

• provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units at two hospitals;
• assist Clinical Nutrition Manager with training, mentoring and supervising the inpatient RD’s;
• support ongoing Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects;
• provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals;
• precept dietetic interns; and
• assume projects and other tasks, as assigned by the Clinical Nutrition Manager.

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Basic Management Experience: 7+ months general supervision  

Basic Functional Experience:  3 years experienced specialized practitioner in a clinical specialty
