Sodexo Senior Living has an excellent opportunity for potential new business.  We are seeking a 32 hour/week Registered Dietitian for White Horse Village, an exclusive continuing care retirement community located in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.  This Registered Dietitian will provide clinical nutrition care planning to residents in skilled nursing, memory care and personal care, while regularly engaging with independent living residents by providing educational opportunities, wellness events and cooking demonstrations

The successful candidate will:

• provide nutritional care to residents in skilled nursing, memory care and personal care;
• conduct nutrition events for residents in independent living;
• meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;
• be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences;
• represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and/or
• support the food service operation as needed.

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
