Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Ozanam Hall of Queens Nursing Home in Bayside, NY. This leadership position is directly responsible for the successful operation of the Dining Services program. Ability to work a flexible schedule, with possible weekend rotation, is highly preferred.  

The successful candidate will:

• have oversight of day-to-day kitchen operations, will oversee trayline production;
• Interface closely and daily with residents, client executive level leadership and client board members;
• control and ensure company and client financial targets and goals are achieved;
• ensure that the highest possible standards of food handling and preparation are achieved.

• have previous skilled nursing or long term care experience;

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
