Sodexo is seeking a high profile and dynamic career opportunity for a Human Resources Manager 3 for Penn Presbyterian Medical Center located in Philadelphia, PA. The Human Resources Manager will provide on-site support to Sodexo managers and approximately 200 hourly union employees on all hospital/Sodexo policies and procedures, HR initiatives and training. This position will have a heavy focus on hourly staff recruitment, on-boarding new employees, training, and labor relations.  

 

The successful candidate will:

  • support Human Resources functions for front-line staff including but not limited to; employee relations, on-boarding, training, payroll, legal compliance, benefits, worker’s compensation and FMLA;
  • manage all employee files and maintain up to date accurate records for quarterly audits
  • oversee recruitment process for front-line positions
  • manage payroll set-up and problem resolutions
  • facilitate HR related training for unit managers
  • communicate effectively and build relationships with multiple levels of the organization; including clients, executives, managers and front-line staff

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years          

Basic Functional Experience – 2 years in HR
