Unit Description

Sodexo has an exciting opening for a Benefits Administrator to join our Corporate Benefits team in Cheektowaga, NY.  This is a hybrid position and requires 3 days in the office.

 Key responsibilities include:

  • Administer benefits for union employees (plan set-up, enrollments/changes, terminations)
  • Assist with union fund audit reviews
  • Monthly reporting and disbursements
  • Research, analyze and resolve related benefit/reporting issues
  • Liaison to field human resources staff, unit managers, union negotiators, and third-party carriers
  • Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will have the following background/skillset:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years’ experience in Human Resources Benefits
  • Knowledge of regulatory laws: ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA (Affordable Care Act)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven problem resolution skills
  • Attention to detail and time management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP and ADP preferred
  • Ability to work independently and meet critical processing deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills
