Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Chef Manager to join our food service team for new business at White Horse Village in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.  This premier continuing care retirement community is located in the countryside of southeastern Pennsylvania and provides residents a new standard in retirement living with abundant amenities, exceptional wellness programs, delicious food, and excellent facilities. The Chef Manager will report to the Executive Chef and supervise approximately 30 employees.  Candidates should be passionate, highly motivated, and enjoy client and resident interaction.

Are you the experienced Chef Manager we’re seeking?

The successful candidate will:

• oversee the daily kitchen operations;
• be hands-on;
• ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality;
• have high expectations for quality of food and presentation;
• have the ability and willingness to develop and train employees; and
• knowledge of Food Management Systems/Software is preferred.

Sodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
