Sodexo is seeking an Area Executive Chef.

 

The Area / District Executive Chef will be responsible for 8+ higher education accounts in the NJ, PA, NY region. The best qualified candidate for the role will have proven results within team building, systems, diverse ethnic culinary expertise, catering, program development, and culinary innovations. The purpose of this position is to elevate the culinary programs at all units by including division programs as well as in-house developed culinary concepts. 

 

Key Duties:

  • Organizing Global chef visits and district Chef competitions.
  • Enhancing resident, retail, and catering menus.
  • Setting the standards for culinary accountability in the district.
  • Benchmarking the competition to ensure the district culinary programs remain innovative.
  • Support for new sales and retention opportunities in the region.
  • Occasional periods of unit coverage for open Executive Chef position within the district.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years   

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
