The Good Eating Company is seeking a Convenience Store General Manager for Northstar 8 in Minneapolis, Minnesota . Our Client has created exceptional space that sets a new standard in luxury office space.  This location will have a unique blend of services: Café Bistro, Convenience Store, Catering and Bar.  We are seeking a dynamic convenience store General Manager who is focused on elevating the guest experience and the products we will offer.

 

The Convenience Store General Manager is the day-to-day staffing presence and is responsible for curating and delivering profitable business unit with exceptional customer service experience for our upscale Market.

 

Key duties of the General Manager role are:

 

  • Oversee the quality and operation of the upscale Market / General Store as a profitable business
  • Keep the Marketplace stocked with merchandise in accordance with owner-approved merchandising plan/ products, and all culinary items
  • Collaborate with culinary team to fulfill takeaway meals program
  • Administer dry cleaning program and mail handling services 
  • Unpack shipments of merchandise, stock shelves, and ensure products are neatly organized and properly displayed to attract customers
  • Monitor inventory levels, track product sales, and communicate with management to reorder stock as needed to maintain appropriate pars
  • Stay informed about the products sold in the Marketplace, including their features, prices, and promotions, to provide accurate information to customers
  • Validate completeness and accuracy of financial reporting
  • Build positive relationships with repeat clients

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years
