Retail Food Service Manager

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Food Service Manager at SSM Health St Joseph Hospital in St Charles, MO. This food service manager will manage and direct several food retail locations associated with SSM Health Hospitals and SSM Health Corporate in the general region. The Retail Manager will be a dynamic team player with a strong background in managing POS software/systems, cash handling, inventory management, and developing teams in any food services environment. 

This strategic leadership position offers a competitive salary and a full benefits package that kicks in immediately. This position requires some travel with reimbursement for mileage. 

The successful candidate will:

• manage several retail operations in region for various SSM hospitals and corporate 
• motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff and supervisors 
• interact with customers, hospital staff, and visitors to ensure customer satisfaction 
• oversee cash handing processes and POS programming and maintenance
• manage vendor relationships, compliance, and inventory 
• maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place
• coordinate department safety and sanitation

We are looking for candidates who have:

• management experience in the food service industry (restaurants, catering, hospitality, hotels, etc.)
• previous experience working in a high volume facility
• ability to learn quickly and adapt 
• technical skills and can learn new software quickly 
• interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders 
• a valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required
