Sodexo Live!'s Airport Lounge Segment is seeking a Senior Manager, Operational Excellence to join our team! 

 

This is a unique hospitality operations management role for a seasoned Hospitality Professional with a focus on elevating the guest experience and food/beverage program management in a premium airport lounge/food and beverage environment.  If you enjoy traveling to support client operations and leading customer projects, this may be the right role for you.

 

A little bit about Airport Lounge Business:

 

Away from the hustle and bustle of the airport, airport lounges are dedicated spaces for elite passengers to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy chef created dishes or order from the full-service bar which serves premium wine and spirits.

 

The successful candidate will:

 

  • Lead efforts to improve business operations across the airline lounges segment, with the goal of increasing efficiencies, improving workflow, and mitigating operational risks;
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization to reduce waste and inefficiencies;
  • Develop relationships with portfolio leaders, unit leaders and subject matter experts to promote improvement initiatives and adoption to change;
  • Provide operational guidance incorporating policy, protocol and systems;
  • Support operational excellence through back of house fundamentals and structures;
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement;

 

  • Travel 60-80% (including some weekends and holidays based on business need) to support our club/lounge food and beverage operations.

 

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:

 

  • Possess a background in high-end or luxury food and beverage operations;
  • Have experience working with FOH up to interaction with high-level, luxury clients in a guest-centric environment;
  • Have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization;
  • Possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service;
  • Exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

 

Reporting to the Airline Lounge Segment Director of Mobilization, this Senior Manager, Service Excellence will work from a home office and MUST reside local to a Hub Airport for travel.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years   

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years in operations, operations support, or a related field
