Sodexo is seeking an experienced Registered and Licensed Dietitian for a Senior Manager, Area Support - Clinical position for a major health system in Cleveland, Ohio

 

This role reports directly to the Director of Clinical and Community Nutrition for the system and will: 

 

  • develop, implement and manage health and well-being programs to impact quality and health outcomes;
  • provide support for new clinical nutrition managers, such as on-boarding and competency completion as well as support for inpatient and outpatient RDNs as needed;
  • directly manage and oversee team of community outreach dietitians;
  • develop, implement, and manage health and well-being initiatives that incorporate new and existing evidence based strategies;
  • work collaboratively with client and Sodexo teams in program development in addition to identifying Sodexo best practices to incorporate within the health system;
  • identify programming materials and staffing a "food pharmacy" for patients identified as food insecure;
  • work closely with culinary staff on healthy cooking demonstrations and creating programming for a teaching kitchen;
  • support the USDA Kids Summer Food service Program;
  • develop nutrition programming for newly renovated wellness centers;
  • support community programs at the women and children’s center;
  • track all financial details associated with programs; and
  • assist with conducting internal audits at all locations to ensure compliance.

 

Is this opportunity right for you?  We are looking for a Registered Dietitian who will:

 

  • be a Registered Dietitian with acute care experience and demonstrate a great clinical knowledge base;
  • have experience collaborating with internal and external community partners as well as experience providing group education;
  • have experience developing and successfully implementing nutrition programs;
  • have proven supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development;
  • demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills; and
  • have experience with regulatory accreditation, regulatory readiness and review, and establishing and maintaining standards of care.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree in dietetics, food management, or related field

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of work experience in health care clinical management of outpatient services, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
