Unit Description

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Executive Chef 2 to join our team at one of or financial services account located in the South End Charlotte NC!  The Food Operation is made up of a Corporate Cafe that serves Breakfast and Lunch, Coffee Bar and Catering Operations.

 

The Executive Chef 2 will be the lead culinary person on site and drive the culinary program.  We are looking for a personable chef who is not afraid to come out of the kitchen and share their passion for food with guest. Other duties will include but not limited to:

  • menu planning
  • ordering
  • inventory
  • catering production for day to day and high-end events
  • food and labor cost
  • leading and developing a team of 7 hourly employees
  • experience with nutrition and health and wellness food offerings

This position offers a traditional Business & Industry, Predominately M-F schedule but flexible to works some evenings for catering.  Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire).  Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
