Unit Description

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for Resource General Manager 3 to join our team.  The Resource General Manager 3 will work out of our Novartis account, but travel to other accounts within 20 miles of East Hanover NJ for coverage and support. 

 

About a Resource Role with Sodexo

Resource Roles are temporary assignments for up to 1 year.  Sodexo has many accounts in this geography, there is a strong potential for permanent placement at one of our accounts.  In addition, Resource employees can immediately post to permanent positions immediately after being hired.  Resource employees are covering for Manager that may be out on vacation, workman's comp, or FMLA.  In addition, a Resource General Manager may work on special projects, new accounts openings, account closings, and catering events. 

 

The Food operation at our locations consists of cafes, catering, micro-markets, and pantry services. Our locations primarily serve Breakfast and Lunch Monday- Friday.

 

The ideal Resource General Manager will primarily work at our Novartis location where we have 2 full-service restaurants, 2 cafes, 26 pantries, 1 micro-market, company store and catering operations. Duties will include but not limited to: 

 

  • overseeing day to day operations
  • managing hourly employees
  • Ordering
  • Inventory
  • Food and labor cost
  • Client interaction
  • HR related duties
  • Catering production

This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire).  Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.
