Sodexo is seeking a part time Dietetic Technician for Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital level I Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU located in St. Louis, Missouri. Position will work part time ~ 24 hours per week.

 

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital has been recognized as a 2023-2024 Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report.

 

The successful candidate will: 

  • perform nutrition screening of patients and assess nutrition risk levels per established criteria;
  • provide appropriate nutrition education based upon patient/family learning needs and abilities;
  • plan menus and nourishments with patients to meet individual nutrition care needs in accordance with diet order, patient preferences, and allergies/intolerances;
  • participate in performance improvement initiatives with the goal of increasing patient satisfaction; and
  • participate in departmental activities, meetings, committees and other nutrition related tasks. 

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

 

  • Associate in Applied Science Degree in Dietetic Technology OR Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics;
  • strong knowledge base of diet and related medical nutrition therapies;
  • sound nutrition education and counseling skills;
  • interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse population and collaborate in a team environment; and
  • good time management skills and be a self-starter.
