Sodexo Campus Services is seeking a Hands-On creative Executive Chef 2 for the Texas Lutheran University - one of our long standing campus partnerships located in Seguin, TX TLU is a small town liberal arts university with a population of 1400 students and staff.  This Executive Chef is the culinary expert and trainer of the food production and service teams.

What You'll Do

  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
  • have the passion and willingness as a hands-on chef to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
  • be customer service focused - on the floor interacting with the students; and
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
