General Manager 6 Food - Schools (Enrollment 10,000 +)

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 6 for William S. Hart Union High School District located in Santa Clarita, CA. Candidate must have a strong financial acumen and be an excellent oral and written communicator.  Knowledge of USDA regulations is a plus.  Candidate will act as a consultant to the chief business officer and superintendent and be able to provide expert advice professionally.  Extensive experience managing and leading 85+ front line employees. Candidate must be able to analyze data, find trends, and offer solutions based on findings.  Having strength in research and project management will be needed.  Must be results driven and have strong proven leadership skills.  In addition, the candidate must have an intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. • have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively; 
• have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; 
• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; 
• prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or
• demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. This does not apply to external candidates.
• Per USDA regulations, this position requires a completed Bachelor's Degree. 
• Valid driver's license required.

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s degree
